BOQ & rate analysis

BOQ and DSR rate analysis software for contractors

Import the tender BOQ, build rate analysis from DSR or your own rates, price the bid with confidence, and when you win, turn the same BOQ into material RFQs for verified vendors near your site.

Tender tracking

Track every tender in the built-in CRM, from bid preparation and submission to award, with its priced BOQ attached.

Import BOQ from Excel

Upload the tender BOQ as it comes. Each line is mapped to an item, unit and quantity, with no retyping.

DSR-based rate analysis

Start from DSR item rates, then adjust material, labour and machinery to your city and today's market prices.

Item-wise costing

See material, labour, plant, overheads and profit for every item, and the total for the whole BOQ.

Clean item codes

Every item gets one code linked to its HSN, so similar items are found instantly and past rates are never lost.

BOQ to RFQ in one click

After award, material lines are grouped by category (cement, steel, electrical, plumbing) and sent as RFQs.

Nearby verified vendors

RFQs go only to KYC-verified vendors of that category within your chosen distance from the site.

Sealed bids, no favouritism

Quotes stay sealed until the deadline and open together, with a time-stamped log. Non-L1 awards need a reason and a second approver.

Budget control

The priced BOQ becomes the project budget. Purchase orders are checked against what is left before release.

Real-time payables

POs, GRNs and bills update what you owe each vendor instantly, project by project.

What rate analysis is, and why it decides your margin

Rate analysis works out the unit rate of each BOQ item from its parts: materials, labour, machinery, overheads and profit. A rate that is too high loses the tender. A rate that is too low wins it and loses money on site.

Most contractors still do this in spreadsheets copied from the last tender. Rates go stale, formulas break, and nobody knows which version went into the bid. QuantProc keeps one rate library, updates it from real purchase prices, and shows exactly how every rate was built.

From tender BOQ to purchase order: how it works

  1. Import the BOQ. Upload the client's Excel BOQ; items, units and quantities are read automatically.
  2. Build the rates. Pick DSR items or your own analysis, set local material and labour rates, add overheads and profit.
  3. Price and submit. Review item-wise and total cost, compare with past tenders, and export the priced BOQ.
  4. Win and budget. The priced BOQ becomes the project budget, item by item.
  5. Categorise and send RFQs. Material lines are grouped by category and sent to verified vendors near the site.
  6. Award fairly. Sealed bids open together; compare L1 price, delivery and vendor rating, then raise the PO.
  7. Track cost against rate. Actual purchase prices flow back into the rate library, so the next tender starts from real numbers.

Why use DSR as the starting point

The CPWD Delhi Schedule of Rates is the most widely used reference for item rates in Indian construction. It gives a consistent breakdown for each item, which makes rates easy to defend with clients and auditors. Material and labour costs differ by city, so QuantProc lets you keep the DSR structure while using your local prices.

Built into a full construction ERP

Rate analysis is not a separate tool here. It connects to procurement and sourcing, site stores, sub-contractor and RA billing, GST billing and accounts, so the number you bid is the number you track until the final bill. See the full construction ERP.
